Looking for some fun ways to get your kiddos to eat those greens?

Some reasons why greens are our best friends:
  • They are full of nutrients, vitamins and minerals needed for healthy growing bodies and brains
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Full of fibre
  • Hydrating
  • Cleansing for the blood
  • Boost immune system
  • Builds healthy gut flora
  • They are made of disease fighting phytochemicals

The problem is.only that little humans tend to have a very strong opinion about food, and greens are rarely a favorite amongst our tiny friends. Involving dinosaurs can sometimes be very helpful.

Ingredients
1/2 bunch of Broccoli
1 Zucchini
1/2 bunch of Cauliflower
1 bunch of Spinach
1 tsp coconut oil
Pinch of premier pink salt
3 cups organic grass fed bone broth (or filtered water)

Instructions
I always make enough of one meal to last a few days.
  • Bring the bone broth (or water) filtered water to a boil on a pot.
  • Throw the broccoli, cauliflower and zucchini into the boiling liquid and put the lid on as you lower heat slightly and allow veggies to simmer for 10 mins.
  • 5 mins later add spinach
  • Check with a fork to see if veggies have softened after 10 mins of total cooking time
  • Put all cooked veggies into a blender (Vita Mix) including the broth from the pot
  • Add a coconut oil and salt to taste.

My boy loves honey, so if i let him put the tiniest bit (half a teaspoon or less!) of organic wild honey into the Dinosaur Soup, so he will HAPPY devour it down like a T-Rex with no questions asked.
