DEFINITION of ANXIETY: A HIDDEN GIFT: Anxiety is officially defined as “a persistent feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.” This can culminate in nervous or compulsive behavior or panic attacks. Feeling anxious prevents you from “enjoying the moment” and puts your mind in a negative downward spiral. However, anxiety can be used as an indicator pointing directly at what you need to heal.
TIPS to help with anxiety:
Put a few drops of oil on the place in your body where you feel your anxiety originate.
BOTTOM LINE: Anxiety can be a gift if you look at it as pointing you to where you need to heal and what triggers you still have left to overcome.
Do you or someone you know suffer from anxiety? If so, we invite you to do this exersice. Find the PHYSICAL place that your anxiety is manifesting, then intentionally breathe 25 long deep breaths into the spot on your body where you feel the anxiety. As you breathe, repeat the mantra, “I breathe out this tension, and I breath in release.”
