Spring marks the beginning of a new phase.
As the Earth awakens from the cold and sleepy winter months, it sheds its skin and opens to the freshness of a new cycle. We too must align ourselves with nature's powerful phases and release any stagnant emotional/mental energy that does not serve us. As light and darkness come together in perfect harmonious balance, it beckons us to do the same... to embrace the light ("good") and dark ("bad") parts of ourselves as we move toward balance in all aspects of our lives
A great way to help old energy make its way to the surface to be cleared is through a mental and physical cleanse.
Here is a 10 day cleanse to support you through this subtle (or not so subtle) transformation period.

Our mental and physical states are inherently connected and affected by each other, so it is equally important to give yourself a mental cleanse during your physical detox.
Some great ways to help clear out mental/emotional blockages are:
Daily journaling- Using your stream of consciousness to guide your thoughts to paper is a great way to get the chatter out of your head and make sense of it all. Simply get a pen to paper and start wring. All that unfiltered mind chatter, just let it spew onto the pages and feel the lightness, closure and epiphanies you are left with.
Meditating- Putting aside as little at 10 mins a day to sit silently with a calm and clear mind will dramatically help cleanse your mind. This practice makes room for intentional, supportive thoughts to drive you forward into your new phase. This is a time to notice your thoughts. What are your dominating thoughts? Where do they come from? Do they serve you?
Face Emotional Upsets- Don’t miss the opportunity for growth!! Really take a step out of your circumstances and “story” and ask yourself “What is REALLY upsetting me here?" "where is there room for me to grow?” “What am I trying to wake myself up to here?” “Where can I take responsibility?” It is in these moments of true self-observation that major break throughs appear, taking you one step closer to genuine freedom and empowerment of your usual constrained mind.
