Hydration (plenty of good quality water)
Eating mindfully, with intention, and as local and organic as much as possible. This is a top priority in my life and I notice what a huge difference it makes in my relationship with food and my overall wellbeing. The time I spend on food preparation has evolved into a beautiful meditation and prayer and I truly believe that plays a wonderful part in how my body receives these nutrients.

4 tips to achieve health and happiness
For myself, living my truth and speaking my truth is crucial. Meaning, I know the path I'm meant to stride and I will do my best to honor that path, even in the moments of discomfort. For me that is where beautiful growth and evolution occurs.
Commitment to do the work. It's wonderful to finally be getting to a point in my life where I have the ability in the hardest moments to step outside myself and say, "Wow. This is so uncomfortable. That's great! I am doing amazing work here. Stay with it, Jolene. Be gentle with yourself and allow this to be a space from which to learn and grow."
Find your place to connect with spirit. Your church, so to speak. For me, this resides within the water element. I feel at my most tapped in near or immersed in the water, while also taking in the beautiful surrounding nature to which the water gifts it's life force and vitality...the forests, mountains, valleys, canyons, etc.
Be of service. I find this fills my soul with so much pure joy. It is such a gift to be in the reciprocal flow of giving and receiving.
